Library cards are available to people who live in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, with a valid identification showing name and address. This includes a driver’s license, bank statement or bill. There are no age restrictions, but parents must sign for children under 18 years of age. High school students must present their student ID card. You may use your Parsippany Library card to check out materials at any public library in Morris County or County College of Morris (CCM). Free courtesy cards are available for individuals who work or attend school in Parsippany-Troy Hills but live outside of Morris County.

-Adult magazines except most current issue — 7 Days
-Teen and children’s magazines except most current issue — 14 Days
Borrowing…
There is no limit to the number of books, CDs, cassettes, audio books, or non-fiction DVDs/videos which may be borrowed. However, there is a limit of three entertainment DVDs, two of which may be new. There is no restriction on the number of videos you may borrow.
Renewals…
You may renew your items by accessing your account online, by telephone, or in person (provided that no other customer is waiting for any of the items). However, DVDs and videos may not be renewed. If an item is overdue, renewals must be made in person.
Holds…
Reserves may be made by logging on to our website at www.parsippanylibrary.org, in person or by telephone. You may choose to receive notification of your holds by e-mail or telephone.
Fines...
Adult books, magazines, cassettes, audio books, CDs, non-fiction DVDs/videos—$.10 per day
Entertainment DVDs/videos—$1.00 per day Children’s materials—$.10 per day
Maximum Fine — $5.00
