Weekly Programs
3-5 year old storytimes in the park - Tuesdays 10:00-10:45am - Sit outside the library for stories, crafts, and a fun time!
Book n'eer Chapter Club for children entering K-4th grade - Tuesdays 11:00-11:45am - Sit outside for puzzles, hidden pictures, and enjoy a chapter book.
Both programs will be held inside the library if raining. Programs start June 28th.
Registration for these programs will be on Monday, June 21 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm
Drop in craft for all ages (no registration required) Wednesdays 5:30pm to 8:30pm
Weekly guessing jar for children! Winner gets contents of the jar! (Jar contents come from donations)
Summer Specials!
Pirate Party - Ahoy mates! Be thrilled by a fencing demonstration, crafts only pirates would like, games, and more! Thursday, June 24 4:30pm Ages 6-11 only. Registration Required. Registration starts on June 21 - space is limited.
Mad Science - Dry ice hands on workshop! Be a part of exciting experiments using dry ice and more! Monday, June 28 4:30pm Ages 6-11 only. Registration Required. Registration starts on June 21 - space is limited. Program funded by NJLA.
Rizzo Wildlife Show - This program is sponsored by the Morris County Clean Communities. Come see live, small mammals and learn how to keep our Earth free of litter and keep us all more healthy. Wednesday, June 30 7:30pm. Registration Required
Beach Party - Paint large sea shells, create a beach in a bag, play beach bingo, and more! Monday, July 12 4:30pm Ages 6-11 only. Registration Required. Registration starts on June 21 - space is limited.
Special Monday Drop In Crafts - Join us to make more fun water themed crafts! Monday, July 19 & 26 4:30pm-8:30pm All Ages are welcomed, no registration needed.
Songs, Stories, & Face Painting in the Park - Bring a blanket and sit in the park outside the library to listen to fun interactive songs and stories. Face painting and refreshments afterward! Tuesday, July 13, 10:00am For all ages! No registration required. Funding for this special program donated by ADP.
**Programs are free to: Parsippany residents; children whose parents work in Parsippany; and Morristown residents who are temporarily without a library. Please show a library card or other proof that you live or work in Parsippany or Morristown. Non-residents are welcome, but due to budget constraints, the Library will charge $5.00 per family for each program attended by those who live or work outside of Parsippany or Morristown.

Driving Directions to the Mount Tabor Library
- RT. 53 SOUTH/NORTH
- In Mt. Tabor, at the light near Foodtown, turn onto Dickerson Rd. (a left turn off Rt. 53 South or right off Rt. 53 North)
- Take your first right onto Fletcher Rd. and continue for one block, making your first right onto Simpson Ave.
- Drive about another block and park, then walk up left side of large blue building which houses the post office and fire department.
- The library is the fourth building on the left. It is white, one-story and octagon-shaped.
- RT. 46 WEST:
- In Denville, take exit for Rt. 53 South.
- Take left off exit, then take another left at light onto Rt. 53 South.
- Continue about 1 mile to Mt. Tabor.
- See above for directions from Rt. 53 South.
- Rt. 46 East:
- In Denville, take exit for Rt. 53 South.
- Take right off exit and continue for about 1 mile to Mt. Tabor.
- See above for directions from Rt. 53 South.
- Rt. 80 West:
- Take Exit 39 (Rt. 46/Denville).
- Stay in the right lane and take exit for 53 South (Mt. Tabor/Morristown).
- Take right off exit and continue about 1 mile to Mt. Tabor.

- Rt. 80 East:
- Take Exit 38 (Rt. 46/Denville).
- Take Rt. 46 East for about half mile, then take exit for Rt. 53 South.
- Turn right off the exit and continue about 1 mile to Mt. Tabor.
